Virginia would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
I only got the medical and evacuation coverage for $55 not the trip cancellation coverage. This saved me at least $500. I would suggest people only get trip cancellation coverage if there is a good probability they will need to cancel. But then this probably isn't what insurance companies want to hear.

The customer service was amazing.....I panicked as we were getting closer to our trip and I didn't have (or at least couldn't find!!) the insurance documents! I contacted Allianz and immediately received a very gracious email reply and the next day I had an electronic copy of the insurance and a hard copy was received in the mail within two days. This service absolutely relieved my anxiety and I knew we were in good hands! Many thanks! I will definitely recommend this service to my traveling friends!

Fortunately, I did not have any need for insurance benefits, but it was reassuring to know that I was covered for most things. Although I really cannot judge the services, I can say that the person I spoke with on the phone when trying to decide about a plan at InsureMyTrip was very helpful. thank you.

Donna would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
We only had one occasion to use the policy - one claim, but I was very impressed by the customer service on the front end of the claim experience. And submitting the claim was not overly complicated. On the back end, it took about three times as long as the company told me was their standard to determine whether to pay the claim and to actually pay it. And I had to pursue their response, but all's well that ends well - they paid the claim.
