bert would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
I had no claims, however I felt that I had sufficient coverage to cover any loss which may have encountered.
My only complaint is that for this and the previous similar policy, it took four attempts to have the correct birth dates printed on the policies.

The "Classic Plan" is the coverage I desired. Interesting, while underwritten by AMEX, this plan is not available from AMEX. Great that I didn't have file a claim. The value of any policy is in its claims paid. I can't comment on that.

Purchased insurance for sailing trip in the Caribbean. Included air travel from SLC to Baltimore over Christmas then down to BVI for bare boat charter. I did injure my foot on trip, but did not require medical treatment. Return trip included flights back to Baltimore and then on to SLC. Lot of opportunity for lost luggage or missed flights. Fortunately all went according to schedule and insurance was not used, but was reassuring we had coverage.
