Glad I didn't have to file a claim. Therefore I can't fully assess the policy.

In promotional material there was a reference to a
discount for foreign exchange at AMEX booths in
Airports but no one knew anything about it.

I have been an AMEX cardholder since 1965--47 years. When and if I hit 50 years I think I should
get a discount on such programs.

I first encountered this policy on "InsureMyTrip". I lost the internet address so I contacted American Express Travel Insurance directly. They quoted a much higher price and said it wasn't available in Pennsylvania.So I booked this through "InsureMyTrip".

This policy seemed to be closer to a reasonable price than others although still far too expensive. I have no way of knowing how well it would have reimbursed me in as much as I fortunately experienced no disasters before or during the vacation.

I ran into an unexpected medical problem while vacationing in the Bahamas and had to go to the hospital. Once I returned home, I requested the hospital bill, submitted it and within 30 days I had my refund from AmEx Travel Insurance. I appreciate all of their help in getting me reimbursed. Thank you again :)
