Claudette would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Since I have a good health plan that includes evacuation, I would prefer to see a plan that is geared more towards travel away from home (excl. evac.). Consider the option one for those with evac. and another without.
This plan was pricey for me... thanks.

Fortunately I did not have to file a claim, but I felt confident that if I did, I'd have no problem, based on the reputation American Express has, as well as the positive reviews I read before I purchased my policy. I'm planning to travel again in a few months, and plan to use the same company and plan through InsureMyTrip.com. Thank you.

We have used American Express Classic for many years. Fortunately, we have never filed a claim, so I cannot comment on how quickly they process the claim. I always felt it was a good value.

Beth would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
My flight was canceled at midnight. I called the toll free number to ask if a replacement flight on another airlines would be covered. I was told to call back in 7 hours when the office opened as no one there could interpret my policy for me, all they could do was find a doctor for me or put me in touch with an airlines. So next time I have to find a policy where the "24 hour assistance" isn't a lie.

Having this American Express Gold plan provided my wife and I piece of mind during our travel in Europe. All seniors should have this plan in their luggage when they travel abroad.
