thought I was going to have to file a claim for lost luggage upon my return home. Called and received excellent information as to how to proceed, records to keep, etc. in the event my luggage never showed up. Fortunately it did.

I thought the American Express Global Travel Shield Deluxe plan was a good and reasonable plan. It had better coverage than the plan my travel company offered. Thankfully, I did not have to use the insurance but I was happy to know it was there if I needed it.

Claudette would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Since I have a good health plan that includes evacuation, I would prefer to see a plan that is geared more towards travel away from home (excl. evac.). Consider the option one for those with evac. and another without.
This plan was pricey for me... thanks.
