I always purchase travel insurance with all the bad stuff happening on cruises and excursions you hear about these days in the news. I have elderly parents and family members that I want to get home to as quickly as possible if something were to happen while I were away. But as a yearly traveler I want to know accidents and things beyond my control are covered as well ... (delayed/lost luggage, lost passport, camera, etc) Just a reminder to get a police report if you have a lost or stolen item as insurance didn't do me any good (diff company) without one.

I was pleased to find that this policy provided better coverage than the one we normally purchased through our booking agency. In the future I will book through AmEx Global Travel Shield again. The convenience of easy purchase online was a plus.

I was very pleased with my American Express insurance policy.

Your policy provided my wife and I with a level of comfort knowing that we were completely covered from unforeseen circumstances, especially any medical issues that would require insurance.

I would definitely use the American Express insurance plan again.
