I really appreciate the fact that I was able to get affordable, last minute coverage for our trip, in anticipation of delays or issues due to snow in our area. Thankfully, we didn't have any issues, however it was a relief to know that we had coverage if needed.

As I purchased it around the time of final payment, I had no other choices which would cover preexisting conditions. As the plan is more expensive than others, I paid more for my delay.

Although I did not need to use any coverages under the plan, it was peace of mind to have the insurance. It was excellent coverage for the amount paid.

I did have to file a claim. My husband suffered a stroke three weeks before we were to depart, and we cancelled the trip. I found parts of the claim form confusing, but the people I talked with were helpful. The claim took about a month to be settled for the full amount of the coverage.

It's hard to say how satisfied I was because I didn't need to file a claim, but the InsureMyTrip.com process was easy and the comparison feature was really helpful.
