As with most reviewers, I did not need to file a claim, so I don't know how much hassle it would have been in practice or if I would have recovered as much as I thought I would. However, given the abysmal state of medical care in Laos, where I was traveling, I wanted to make sure I could be evacuated to Thailand for care, if I needed it. I also had a very elderly relative whose health could easily have caused me to have to cancel or abridge my very costly trip. I feel as if I did the best I could to insure against those possibilities, and I found InsureMyTrip.com to be very easy to deal with on the phone. I had to increase the amount of my coverage as I finished travel purchases, and agents on the phone were helpful in making sure I did not buy more coverage than I needed. I will likely use this service again if I travel under similar circumstances.

Thank goodness we didn't need to use any aspects of this plan. I can't really evaluate the plan since we didn't have to make a claim. Seemed like a reasonable price for the coverage.

While we didn't need to use the coverage it was good to know we had it available. The cost was very good for what was covered and we would not hesitate to use this coverage again.
