Edwina would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
While we didn't have a claim, we felt confident with the purchase process, that if we did, it would be handled as we would want. We are VERY skeptical of travel insurance following a disastrous assistance and claim process with World Nomads last year when they did everything possible to not pay for my hospitalization, repatriation and any assistance following a CVA while in Spain. With InsureMyTrip, it seems as if there would be support along the incident and claim continuum, so, so important.

I needed travel insurance for visa purposes. InsureMyTrip was easy to use and got me what I needed. Would definitely use them again.

I would highly recommend using InsureMyTrip.com It gives you peace of mind when you've invested so much in a trip. Just in case of disaster, lost luggage, delays or illness, it is good to know that you have coverage for the unexpected.

This is a very affordable insurance policy; by far the best price we found. All other companies we looked at were unreasonably overpriced. Insurance is a much needed element of any trip, but especially an extended overseas trip. I am glad we had the opportunity to find an affordable plan for our trip and know that if we needed insurance, it was there.

Having the insurance plan gave me an additional level of comfort in traveling to Bolivia. Bolivia is not as well set up for travelers as are many other countries, including neighbors such as Peru. Travels in Bolivia's mountains can involve some safety issues due to the relatively unimproved road system. And, taking part in mountain treks and rain forest hikes may involve some safety/medical issues.
