On this particular trip, I didn't need to use any of the insurance features purchased (a safe trip). The peace of mind that it brings to me having purchased the travel insurance should the need arise was awesome.
I did purchase a travel medical insurance plan for a trip to Costa Rica in 2008 from "InsureMyTrip" and utilized it after a motorcycle accident left me with a broken right leg (Tibia). I needed immediate surgery and 4 days in the hospital in Costa Rica and all was covered except the small deductible. All things were handled in an expeditious manner with NO problems.
I would recommend travel medical to anyone going abroad.

Traveling to Cambodia, I was unwilling to go without purchased coverage for any health emergencies that arose. This plan gave me peace of mind and coverage which I felt was necessary without costing too much.
Once purchased, I received printable cards with national and international phone numbers should I need to contact HTH in an emergency. I kept these in my possession the entire trip, but never had to use them. I was also given an online profile to research my destination.
I am happy I did not need the purchased coverage, but still very pleased with the cost-to-value this plan provided.
