All plans are secondary insurance, meaning that in the event of claim they look to your primary coverage first. In the case of medicare supplemental there is a 50k lifetime cap. If that is ever depleted I'll have to dig more deep into the details

Fortunately, we did not have any medical incidents during the insured trip so I can't comment on how the insurance companies performed; but I can give feedback on the experience of setting up the right plan with the InsureMyTrip team. Top notch customer support, and the plan they recommended gave us peace of mind. I will continue to use and recommend their travel insurance services.
