This is the second time we used this plan. The first time we got this plan a year ago we actually had to file a claim because of illness and couldn't go on the trip. The claim was paid out promptly and without fuss. So we'll continue to use this plan. Also, it has a good list of coverages.

M.H. Ross was fabulous to deal with. They stayed in touch with us during every step in the process. Their customer service personnel were very courteous, knowledgeable and professional. They did not look for an excuse to avoid paying the claim. I would not dream of booking an expensive trip without using them again!

Since I didn't file a claim it is impossible to rate claims service or coverage. I was amazed that other travelers relied on standard coverage supplied by the cruise lines to cover potential problems. Medical transport alone would far exceed those policy limits.

I've always purchased trip insurance and prior to his have only made 1 claim. The prior claim ( with another company) did not go well. They kept asking for more information than had previously been requested. Finally they did pay.
With this M.H. Ross plan things went much better. When I called to report the claim they were very helpful. They e-mailed me the claim forms and told me specifically what other information was needed for processing. I sent in all material requested and was paid in full. Whole process took about 2 weeks.
