Mary Ann would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
It was unclear that one has to insure ALL parts of the vacation, even the reusable parts of airline tickets, if one wants cancellation for any reason. We purchased cancel for any reason - very expensive - to avoid loss when canceling a vacation when we feel ill. Perhaps this was overkill. I am still unclear what would be covered if one selected the much less expensive cancellation for illness, which should be more appropriate for us. As senior citizens since we recover from illnesses slower than younger people we cancel trips when less ill than when we were younger, since we would not enjoy the vacation if sick even if we could stagger on to the plane. Its unclear what evidence they would require to refund expenses. Fortunately for this vacation we were healthy.

We had no reason to use our policy. We were very lucky with everything but we paid for the security of knowing that we were protected. I wondered if any thought was ever given to returning customers that never had a claim after several trips?
