We always buy insurance when we take a trip but so far we've never had to file a claim. I hope we never have to file a claim but if we ever did that would be the best time to rate how well this insurance company did.......

As with most insurance, it is impossible to rate the service of the insurer when, as in my case, everything went smoothly and there was no claim required. That said, I did a lot of price and coverage comparisons, and this plan was significantly less expensive than comparable coverage offered by competitors for relatively modest amounts of coverage that included cancel for any reason protection, which was crucial to us. On a side note, InsureMyTrip is a great service. Its coverage comparison is top of the line, and its telephone support staff is highly knowledgeable and were able to answer several questions that I had.
