I just wanted to write and say thank you. My mother was hesitant getting insurance for this flight but after getting 'burnt' last fall on a cancellation fee, she decided to take it out this time. What a blessing it was to have the insurance; it really helped out! Thank you so very much.

Brian would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
It seems as though whenever I do have to make a claim an item or incident is not covered by my policy. My phone was pickpocketed in Russia and of course as always, this "item" was not covered.
I take the insurance because I have an elderly parent who. I'm wondering, if in the event I would have to cancel a trip because of an illness, what are the chances that there would be some "reason" that my insurance would not cover this?

Joseph would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
The time it took for the claim to be processed was extremely long. Worse of all, the correspondence was poor so you had no idea what the cause of the delay was. In fact, if you tried to call and inquire into the status of the claim, you would be placed on hold for ~30 minutes, then asked to just leave a message and someone would call you back. Whether they did or not was a gamble. The did end up finally processing the claim for the amount in its entirety, but it took close to 2 months for them to complete it.
