I just wanted to write and say thank you. My mother was hesitant getting insurance for this flight but after getting 'burnt' last fall on a cancellation fee, she decided to take it out this time. What a blessing it was to have the insurance; it really helped out! Thank you so very much.

Did get injured, but I believe plan only covered MedEvac, not stepping on glass in Amsterdam. Only $150 for tetanus shot, antibiotics and MD care on boat. Cheaper than ER here.

How can I evaluate something I did not use? Also don't know really if price was good.

We were visiting lots of strange places and we wanted coverage for medical evacuation if desired by us and not subject to carrier approval. The plan gave us what we wanted at reasonable cost with a good carrier. The best thing is that we didn't have to use it.
