Carole would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
As a senior citizen, knowing that Medicare will not cover any medical expenses outside the USA, I feel more comfortable traveling outside the country, knowing that if I have to evacuate, I can. Travel Guard Basic plan allows me reasonable insurance to assure my safe return to the USA should it be necessary. Thank goodness, so far, I haven't had to use it, but I know it is there for me.

I was able to get out at the last minute after the snow storm of 2013. I live in CT. and it was doubtful up until the last minute if I would make it to the ship.

We would definitely purchase this plan again. Our vacation was for 3 weeks but we only got to stay 1 week. My dad got sick and we had return home to help care for him. We filed our claim in November 2012 and received our refund in late January 2013. The hardest part of the claim was getting the medical information from the doctors that treated him. Our claims analyst was great to work with and gave us guidance on what we needed and how to go about getting the claim forms filed. Very pleased with our purchase.

I think Travel Guard is great! We took a trip 2 years ago and my husband got sick and we needed t come home fast. Travel Guard made the filing of claims easy and fairly painless. After that experience I will always buy travel insurance for any big trip. Thank you
