Michael would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
This plan was purchased for a lengthy ocean trip. Full travel insurance would have been prohibitively expensive, we had allowed for delays and were willing to risk known costs such as lost luggage. This plan provided catastrophic coverage for possible accidents and evacuation from the ship, at an affordable price, and the terms were much more satisfactory than a similar policy we had purchased for a different trip a couple of years ago. This was exactly what we needed.

When travelling with a large family, it's always a good idea to have insurance! Never know if someone will get sick. Also, living in Colorado can mean lots of snow in the winter. Having trip insurance, helps know we will get to the resort and not lose money.

We got this just as a backup with going on a trip in winter. You never know what might happen. We took in some of the shows they had to offer.

Will not travel out of the US mainland without travel insurance...most important...medical insurance,regardless of age.
Fortunately, have never needed it but if a medical emergency happens, you do want to be in a US or a major world city hospital cared for by doctors approved by Travel Guard.

This was the first time we purchased trip insurance. It was easy to obtain and met our needs. We did not need to use it, but it was comforting knowing it was there in case we needed it.
