Due to unpredictable weather conditions and possible inability to attend prepaid activities due to that, it would be beneficial to include an optional add -on to the insurance plan to cover these matters. A possibility to recover costs associated with canceling prepaid activities due to inclement weather (or due to any reason) is well worth extra pay.

Unfortunately, my companion was unable to make the trip because she was ill and hospitalized. I was charged an extra single supplement which was covered by this insurance. I am pleased to have received my check although I thought it took a long time to process the claim. Thank you.

The only difficult after thought is you spent all this money on the insurance and if you didn't need it, it feels like wasted money. What might be a draw for more people is if you don't use the insurance that you get a rebate back afterwards such as 25% of cost or a set amount. Just a thought for future customers. However, I am very thankful I didn't have to use it!

Our luggage was lost for the first 30 hours after our arrival. We called in to initiate our claim for lost luggage and your representative was highly professional and reassured us that it would be covered. We were authorized to buy a few clothes and necessities to get us by for a couple days, however the luggage showed up in the next couple hours so we did not end up needing to. It was very reassuring that InsureMyTrip.com was standing behind us.

I covered the airfare on Qantas from LAX to Sydney, AU. for a cruise of New Zealand round-trip from Sydney. "Trip Protector Lite" was the most economical insurance coverage I could find for that airfare cost. Luckily I didn't have to use it (thus far), so I am unable to comment on how good the coverage is.
