Candace would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Hurricane Sandy caused our original flight to be cancelled. This resulted in two additional hotel nights and meal expenses. I submitted the documentation and receipts required and received full compensation in less than 3 weeks. Will definitely use Travel Insured again and have already recommended to a friend that is traveling in a few months.

the simple truth is we had a great trip with no mishaps, so we only used insurance for piece of mind. That's the way it's supposed to work.

Since I did not have to file a claim, I really don't know how thorough the coverage was compared to my perceptions of the coverage and reading of the policy. It was still not completely clear to me whether a prepaid hotel room cost, if lost due to a delayed flight, for whatever reason, would be covered by the plan. I did speak to someone but still wasn't positive as the policy seems to leave some "wiggle room".

Only the Trip Protection is worth the money, for a trip to UK. They allow any to use their medical free of charge.

The Salesman should have known this and told me. Rather then UP Sell me.
