Arthur would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
Only the Trip Protection is worth the money, for a trip to UK. They allow any to use their medical free of charge.

The Salesman should have known this and told me. Rather then UP Sell me.

I would have appreciated this kind of contact either before or during my trip instead of just afterward- but I appreciate getting it now instead of NO contact. My trip was 6 weeks in China- 2 weeks on an organized tour and 4 weeks traveling on my own. I am in jet lag right now but my trip was so different than what I thought it would be. I ended up being in Shanghai most of the time and met wonderful people and shared an artist studio. China is what I imagine Japan was like 20 years ago.

My dilemma was that while I was at sea on a two week cruise my mother got quite ill. The paper which I had with me did not detail the policy, and I had no internet access. In other words, should I have needed to abort my trip I had no idea who was responsible for what. Fortunately, I did not need to return, but had anxiety about it.
