I covered the airfare on Qantas from LAX to Sydney, AU. for a cruise of New Zealand round-trip from Sydney. "Trip Protector Lite" was the most economical insurance coverage I could find for that airfare cost. Luckily I didn't have to use it (thus far), so I am unable to comment on how good the coverage is.

Although I didn't have to file a claim, it was great to find a reasonably priced insurance for a major family trip with short notice. We had originally planned to skip travel insurance, but with the cost of the trip (half way around the world) and traveling with several generations, I priced out insurance though InsureMyTrip and was pleasantly surprised at how affordable a plan was.

This is the second time we have used InsureMyTrip for travel outside of the US with our family of two adults and two children. Fortunately we have never had to file a claim, but having especially the medical coverage and less importantly the trip cancellation overage gives us tremendous peace of mind as a very low price especially when compared to the travel insurance offered by cruise lines or airlines.

Yes but. I bought $2,000 worth of insurance premium dollars, but I had to scale down my trip and I needed only $1200 worth of insurance premiums. The company wanted to jerk me around but when I insisted I got a supervisor who satisfied me and handled me fairly.
I had small claim but there was a $50. Deductible. It seems absurd that I gave them $1,200 and the company cut the payment by $50
