I purchased this plan for our 9 family members, ranging in age from 19 to 56 years old, traveling to the Caribbean. None of us had any pre existing conditions. I wanted something to cover an accident. If an accident occurred, I wanted to be flown back to the USA. We did not need this plan and I am grateful. Some one on our cruise did have a serious accident (missed a step on a natural rock bridge, fell, and had several compound fractures.) and I hope he had coverage!!

A true measure of the plan would have been if I had encountered an accident, etc. which I didn't. But I still liked having the peace of mind knowing that there was that coverage should anything go wrong.

Fortunately I didn't need to file a claim, so I can't comment on that aspect. The purchase process was easy and the price was reasonable for the coverage I received. It was also easy to print out the contact numbers and other information that I needed to carry with me on the trip.
