Corinne would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
We had a problem come up on the weekend. When I tried calling Travelex I was disappointed to find out that they only offer assistance with medical emergencies outside of regular office hours. They had no customer service representatives available on the weekend.

    We are sorry to hear of the difficulty you experienced while traveling. It is important to note that there are multiple ways to get in touch with the insurance company. If possible, you can reach the insurance company via email or even file a claim via their website. If you were experiencing an emergency, you could also call the 24/7 emergency assistance line.

The plan appears to cover my travel needs, but since I didn't need to use it -a good thing- one cannot be sure that it really did. I will most likely use Travelex Travel in the future.

I should have covered more items of the trip. I didn't need to file a claim,but would have felt more at ease with a bit more coverage. Cost of insurance is somewhat expensive.

All went well until we were to leave Miami for Phoenix. We sat for over 1 hour while the pilot's seat had to be changed. It looked like we were almost able to use the insurance, for which we were very glad that we had it.
