I like having a plan via insure my trip lots of options. I always get Travel Max it seems to have the best options and coverage. Fortunately I have never had to use it but it is nice to know you have a good plan when traveling outside the US that covers almost everything!!!!!

We had a problem come up on the weekend. When I tried calling Travelex I was disappointed to find out that they only offer assistance with medical emergencies outside of regular office hours. They had no customer service representatives available on the weekend.

    We are sorry to hear of the difficulty you experienced while traveling. It is important to note that there are multiple ways to get in touch with the insurance company. If possible, you can reach the insurance company via email or even file a claim via their website. If you were experiencing an emergency, you could also call the 24/7 emergency assistance line.

I should have covered more items of the trip. I didn't need to file a claim,but would have felt more at ease with a bit more coverage. Cost of insurance is somewhat expensive.
