We have always used Travelex and have recommended it to friends who are taking their first cruise next year.
So far we have never had to make a claim, but better to have the insurance and not use it than to need it and not have it.

Jeanette would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
I mostly bought the plan for entertainment. I thought "I know this company is making a killing with this fee considering that dying in a plane is less likely than being stuck by lightening or winning the lottery." I did like the extra bonus protection for luggage and delays though. I would do it again...but $100 for 2 trips is a little steep.
