Kenneth would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
I wanted to buy protection for two reasons: injury prior to the trip (a bicycling tour) and my employer cancelling all vacations due to storms. I wound up having to purchase accidental death and dismemberment, accident sickness and medical expense coverage, baggage delay, lost baggage, etc., etc. Perhaps I didn't clearly explain the coverage I needed when I called InsureMyTrip, but in any case, I felt the cost was too high.

The person who helped me set up my plan was very helpful when explaining my choices and coverage. She was patient to repeat the things I didn't understand. Some items she had to explain several times for me to understand or to be sure I understood it. I found her to want me to have the coverage I needed and not try to over sell coverage I didn't need. With the cost of traveling almost a month in Europe, the price of the insurance was minor. It provided me a feeling of safety health wise And insured me to have a good time without the fears of "what if I have an accident, become ill or my family at home becoming ill and I would need to return home quickly! It was a small amount of money in the big scheme of the over all cost of my trip. This was my 2nd experience with "Insure My Trip" and I will check their coverage first for my next trip. I'm happy to be at home safe without using the coverage but many are not as fortunate as I was. I had just had knee surgery prior to getting the insurance and being able to get it helped my decision to make the trip or not! It was a wonderful experience !
