Well, I don't know how helpful my review will be because it's like all insurance---they are ALL good until you need to file a claim. HA! Thankfully, I have NEVER had to do this and I have used this insurance for several overseas trips. This time I also got trip cancellation added but my PRIMARY concern is medical coverage and emergency evacuation from overseas if I'm injured or become ill. I have a friend who had this happen and if she hadn't had insurance, it would have cost her tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of dollars as she has had on-going expenses for several years plus emergency evac back to USA.

Having had to make a claim in the past, I would always suggest one buy trip insurance. You never know when you will need it and if you only use it once, it will probably pay for itself and all the other times you have purchased trip insurance. I know it did for us.

It seemed to be a very good plan. It covered most of the items I needed covered. I was disappointed however with the price. In the past I have been able to get even better coverage for less money.

Given you have asked. My wife fell and twisted her ankle with 2 days remaining of trip. I don't think medical cost were very much. Haven't even thought about it. No medical care in Trinidad&Tobago. She did have xrays when we got back, nothing broken. I'll ask her about costs.

We are doing a trip next Febuary so I'm going to get some more insurance for it.
