My last 2 trip insurance policies from InsureMyTrip.com have been with TruTravel Super Saver. This trip I did not have any claims but my trip several years ago my claim was for over $7000. The claim was handled efficiently and there were no issues getting a refund for the trip. I am highly satisfied with both InsureMyTrip and TruTravel.

Disappointed that my travel delay claim was denied based on what I think is a small technicality in what is deemed a "hazard" - namely, a significant delay at Customs due to government slowdown/budget cuts that caused us to miss our flight. We spent extra funds, and lost valuable time and wages waiting for the next available flight (an extra 2 days). I do realize this was not specifically covered in the "fine print," but it would have been a nice gesture to receive even a partial amount towards the claim. I still think travel insurance is important and will consider TruTravel when booking future trips.
