We actually had a medical evacuation from our cruise ship mid-ocean off the coast of France during our most recent vacation. I can only imagine how much this costs, and my wife asked if the insurance I bought would cover it. It is exactly why I purchased the coverage, and a great example of "you never know". Thanks

I bought this a year ago and don't recall the details. But I do recall that I shopped hard at the time and found this to be superior than its competition, offering valuable choice in providers at reasonable cost. The purchasing process was smooth.

I assume the plan is what the brochure says and it would provide evacuation in needed. If so, it is a good though expensive plan. Since I didn't use the plan I can not be aware of any problems with the coverage.
