The plan provided the coverage I wanted for a good price. I did not need to file a claim. The insurance gave me peace of mind. The real test of a plan comes with the need to file a claim.

Besides reasonable cost, another important factor was that the MD would be the one deciding if emergency evacuation was needed, not the business provider. In going to unknown places with unknown languages, this was important to be covered (just in case).

One of the most important items in any travel to a 3rd world country is that ability to medvac back home if injured or sick. Travel Guard provides a very economical insurance.
