Although we did not utilize Medjet Assist services during our trip, we did require medical assistance at a local hospital. The hospital’s facilities and staff marginally met our needs; “to patch us up” until we returned home in two days. This experience was an eye opener and mere fact of knowing that we had Medjet service available provides a tremendous relief.

The evac policy which I purchased from you and which expired provided that evacuation would be done at MY request. This year due to our age we were told we could only purchase a policy which provides for evacuation at the request of the attending physician. A BIG NOT GOOD CHANGE. I wish the old form was available.

We will use your service for future trips. We are glad that we didn't need the coverage but realize that NOT having it would have been bad if a medical emergency came up on our cruise.

Your communication before the trip was appreciated. It told me that there were real people behind the coverage and I could always look up the email message if I lost my paper copies during the trip.

For older world travelers, this is a perfect plan because it includes $50,000 emergency medical coverage as well as evacuation back home. Lets face it, any injury or illness on vacation IS an emergency.
In addition, this plan was cheaper through InsureMyTrip than directly with the insurer!

Fortunately we did not have to use it! But I have to say they were a great company as far as being able to price out and buy the insurance on line. The only thing I might have done differently, is buy the insurance at the same time I purchased the cruise.
