Bernard would recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
We weren't able to take this trip due to unexpected surgery needed before we left. I called to see if we could cancel this insurance, but were one day late for the 10 day cancellation deadline. Representative was polite, but not especially sympathetic to our situation.

Because I reviewed the policy before purchasing I knew it covered what I needed. Fortunately I did not need to see if, in fact, you would do what the policy said! But, thank you, for giving me peace of mind!

T would not recommend this plan to a friend or relative.
It was easy to get and the price was right. They provided sufficient paperwork (via internet) to maintain my confidence. One needs something like this to have peace of mind when far from home.
On the other hand I was fortunate enough not to need to use it. So I can't comment on function fulfillment. I would tell my friends to look into it and make their own decision, as I had, but would not "recommend" what I hadn't used.

It is worrisome to leave the USA/Medicare benefits when traveling. This policy gave us coverage and peace of mind while in Canada.
