It's always a pleasure to deal with a company that has representatives who can explain in clear but comprehensive terms such a complicated area as insurance matters. This whole matter with primary and secondary coverage was hard to understand from the website, but the rep very patiently went through it with us so we were satisfied that we got the kind of coverage we felt we needed.

I have used this plan for 10 years and although I've never had to file a claim, I feel better knowing they have my "back" and will be there to assist if I should need them. I travel internationally a great deal and will continue to use HCC.

Insurance was required by the tour company we were traveling with. Fortunately we did not have any accidents and did not have to utilize the insurance. However, someone else in the tour group did. It was reassuring to us to know we had the insurance just in case. One big thing to remember though is that this is a reimbursement policy, you have to pay for any services needed up front from your own resources, then get paid back...hopefully.

The "killer" feature in your coverage is that it is good for a year, with a max of 70 days coverage for each individual trip. I will be setting off on another trip in the USA and the coverage is in place. Then in June I will return to Germany for almost two months, and the coverage is in place. Further your pricing seems quite fair when compared to other comparable plans. And I did contact your staff with a couple questions before I set off back in December. My questions were answered politely and in a straight forward way. Thanks.
