We had items stolen out of our luggage. We filed claims with the airlines, TSA, and Travel Insured. I had to wait for the response letters before this claim could be settled. There was a $50.00 deductible and if I didn't have a receipt they only paid 50% of the amount that was stolen. After I waited seven months on the TSA (whom I really think should have been the ones paying for the items stolen because we had two notes left in our luggage showing that the TSA had went through them.) Travel Insured was prompt to pay.

We have been very satisfied using CSA for our Travel protection. My father-in-law developed a blood clot on a trip to Hawaii a couple of years ago. We were very happy with the customer service in resolving the financial issues. We will use their service again in the future.

We had to cancel our cruise due to a last-minute illness. The claim process was demanding to say the least. It gave the impression that Travelex wanted any little piece of information that might reduce their liability. Nevertheless, they came through with a full refund in less than three weeks.

We are happy that we did not use the insurance, but we had it in case we needed it. We bought the same plan last year and had a 5 day delay in getting a suitcase in Rome, thus we used it last year.
