Because of my need for a temporary work visa for a trip to Austria, I was required to get unfamiliar forms of insurance. My employer couldn't help, my insurance company was clueless, various Embassies were not useful. In trying to satisfy the requirements with my own plan, I noticed the "Travel Visa Plus" plan. Turns out, that is exactly what the Embassy was looking for. Rather painless, if you know where to look.

Glad we didn't have to use it! I could see the wisdom of buying travel insurance as I watched the experiences of others on our trips who did not and then had problems with flights and delays. It was also evident as we toured that physical safety was an issue we all had to deal with with much walking on uneven ground, riding camels or other animals, etc.

Fortunately we did not need to use the insurance however it was nice to have a piece of mind.
The insurance is significantly better deal compared to what is offered by Cruise lines. I will definitely use it in the future.
