Also included with the Class and Classic Plus plans is Trip Cancellation coverage if your destination is under a hurricane warning (issued by NOAA National Hurricane Center), provided the cancellation of your trip occurs more than 15 days after your policy effective date.

We had 1 of 3 bags lost for 9 days. The travel assistance company was constantly in touch with us and the air carrier with trying to locate and return the bag and their service was very good. However, the actual claim filing and processing time was lengthy and the phone representatives were not very friendly. Lastly $250 max for a day or 2 delay is ok, but for 9 days with clothing for 2 kids, $250 does not get you far clothing kids on vacation with no wash machine access.

We filed a claim for a travel delay - got stuck in Philly overnight. They paid without any questions within 4 weeks. On the other hand, we provided all receipts and airline’s letters, so there was not much to ask. They refused to pay $10 for extra day of long term parking saying that only food and lodging is covered. No matter how carefully you read the policy, there is always something missing; so, there have to be some reason involved.
