To put things in perspective: I had to see a doctor due to an ear infection on a recent trip to Mexico, and ended up with an approximately $300 bill for exam and prescription drugs - so, relatively minor, but an expense I was hoping I wouldn't have to swallow seeing that I had purchased travel health insurance, and I didn't.
Claim processing time was much longer than the "general servicing time of up to two weeks" as stated; however, having submitted a complete claim with all requested documentation the process was smooth and I received a check after ~6 wks for the full amount without additional back and forth.
One thing to note is that policies are only applicable to 'families' and my fiance and I had to purchase separate policies, which seems a bit over bureaucratic.
