This was the first time we had to "use" our trip insurance and wondered how it was going to work. My sister got sick the day we were supposed to leave on vacation. A few days after we all should have been on vacation but were not, her husband called the company and they emailed him a set of claim forms. There was a step by step process. She got the medical report from her doc, copies of the rental contract, copies of their e-tickets, and a copy of my charge slip marked "car rental" and submitted everything requested along with a letter explaining that she was seeking reimbursement for their out-of-pocket expenses. The instructions said to check back with them after four weeks. Four weeks to the day, she got a check for just was what was requested. I'd say it was good service. Like everything else, though, it pays to read and follow directions! Hopefully we won't need to collect in the future. It's much more fun to be on vacation than spend it in bed sick. Thank you.
