We purchased the Travel Guard Gold (ProtectAssist) plan for a much-anticipated trip to China. I was particularly worried that one of my two elderly parents would become ill, requiring me to cancel or interrupt the trip. Much to my surprise and dismay, I was the one who was injured and needed neck surgery just two weeks before our planned departure.
Beginning with my first call to Travel Guard, the company was very responsive and did exactly what they said they would do. We submitted a very detailed and thorough claim, supported by all documentation requested by the company. Within three weeks of mailing in the claim form, we received a check for the full amount of our claim; no delay and no additional questions asked. We were very impressed by the customer service and the responsiveness of this company and highly recommend them.
