We were at (Brussels)airport nice and early to catch AA flight back to US at 10 AM. At approx. 2PM, "engine trouble," i.e. pilot work slowdown, was announced as cancellation of flight. Taxi (to be reimbursed by AA)to 5 star hotel in Brussels Center, fabulous dinner, arrived home one day late. 1. Never flying AA again 2. Total chaos at airport to rebook 2-300 passengers 3. Could have used a news update a few hours earlier. No insurance claim other than AA reimburse for taxi fare.
