The process was very long and drawn out. At the end of the day I was satisfied with the compensation amount. I was, however, not at all satisfied with the whole process. My loss was reported on 2/5/2011. I provided all the requested documentation on 2/16/2011. I did not receive a check until 5/5/2011, exactly 3 months after the initial loss. In addition to providing all the requested documentation on 2/16/2011, on 3/22/2011, it was requested of me (after I CALLED IN to check the status of things) to send a lot of the same documentation that had been sent over one month prior. I provided essentially the same documentation on 3/25/2011, with more explanation. It still took more than another month for my claim to be processed, after several more phone calls on my part.
