Generali Global Assistance Standard
My wife had to use the ship medical services and CSA covered all the expenses that were not paid for by our private health insurance plan. No hassle and a check covering the difference came back within two weeks of sending in the bills.

We are planning another trip in 6 months and will use CSA again.

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
Being in Rio for this amount of time i was able to see the problems that would arise if i actually needed to receive treatment in a hospital as the traffic was mind boggling during commute time.So may i suggest a map of some kind outlining emergency room locations in cities that are known to be congested in order to make a more informed decision.Thank you

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy and your comment about the traffic situation in Rio. I did present your suggestion to management for their review. Please keep in mind that all insurance providers including Travel Insured have 24 Hour Emergency Assistance phone numbers for assistance in locating a medical provider in an emergency.

I was happy with the plan that I chose and also that I had a representative to help me make a good choice on the plan. I am glad (more than glad) that my husband and I didn't need to use it, but if we did I knew it was there. Medicare does not cover people who travel outside of the USA so I think it pays to be protected and have peace of mind when so far away from home. I will use this plan again on our next trip out of the country.

Generali Global Assistance Standard
I have used CSA Travel Protection at least 4 times. The first time, I had a major accident. They handled the difficult logistics even better than I had hoped. Then they reimbursed all my claims. Only one small claim since then, also handled well. I am very satisfied.
