I am thankful I didn't need to file a claim but have had this same kind of travel insurance in June and did need to file a claim. It was very easy to file a claim. I received a check from them very soon after. I bought the same policy yesterday for a cruise in 3 weeks!!

C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector
This C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector plan gave me peace of mind while traveling to Israel. I never used it, but just having it available was the best choice I made. The next time I travel internationally, I will do this again.

Fortunately, I didn't have to use the plan during my trip, however, I would recommend using AIG as a travel plan because it met my needs whereas other plans that I looked into did not.

This plan offers a lengthy list of covered perils for Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption, which protects the investment you have made in the trip, and also provides reimbursement for incidents which could occur after departure, such as lost and/or delayed luggage, travel delay, and emergency hospitalization and medical transportation up to the policy limits.

    Premiums for comprehensive policies are based largely on the length of the trip, the ages of the travelers, and the cost of the trip. A travel insurance policy is considered to be of good value when the policy premium is 4-10% of the insured trip cost.
