C&F Travel Insured International Worldwide Trip Protector Plus
Although Travel Insured initially seemed like the best price for what we were looking for, as we added more costs to our trip the Travel Insured price became prohibitive. Unfortunately, we were already locked in. In the future, before I choose a plan, I'll submit an estimate of the total cost rather than just the initial cost, so I can better choose a reasonably priced plan.

I had an accident in London. I called the 24 hour hot line and they told me to see a doctor, pay the bill, and submit for payment. Turned out the NHS did not charge me. But I was impressed by the response from the insurance representative.

    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. The John Hancock Bronze plan covers a wide range of unforeseen events for Trip Cancellation and Trip Interruption. The list of covered events includes but is not limited to:

    (c) Inclement weather, Natural Disasters, Terrorist Attacks, or mechanical breakdown of the common carrier which results in the complete cessation of travel services at the point of departure or destination for at least 24 consecutive hours.
    (d) Adverse weather or Natural Disasters resulting in the complete cessation of travel services.
