I am not sure that we would recommend it because we did not need use it. I do not know how fast you pay out so how could I recommend something I don't know about? I am currently waiting on another policy for a refund for a vacation that I could not take due to the Doctor not releasing me to go. He signed all of the necessary paper work for me and I think the company is just stalling. All insurance companies are alike. They want our money but do not want to pay out when we need it.

My wife and I purchased travel insurance for our two week trip to Greece. With an elderly mother and all of the crazy things going on in the world, the policy gave us peace of mind that we wouldn't lose our travel investment if something unexpected happened. Fortunately, we had an uneventful, but fabulous trip to beautiful Greece!

OK, I messed up by not confirming the dates of the trip with the dates that I THOUGHT I had purchased insurance for. (I purchased the insurance 10 months before the departure date when the trip dates were a bit uncertain.)
I got a reminder email from InsureMyTrip on the day I left for my vacation. I called InsureMyTrip to correct the dates -- they were off by a few days. However, I called when I was at the airport. It was too late. Neither InsureMyTrip nor C&F Travel were willing to adjust the dates of my trip. Which meant that I had no coverage for the departing or returning flights.
It would be most helpful if InsureMyTrip would send out a reminder a bit earlier when the insurance was purchased months in advance.

Using your service was stupid easy. The agent was helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. I got more coverage than I was shopping for. It cost less than I anticipated. The documentation provided was excellent on what I was getting and how to use the policy if needed.
I immediately called two friends who were traveling internationally and reminded them that they needed coverage, and they also bought policies.
I am happy to say I did not have any problems that required me to use my policy, so I can not comment on response issues.

This trip insurance was a Godsend! My niece and I had planned to take a two-week vacation/cruise through Greece, Italy, and Barcelona toward the end of August. On August 8, my dad suffered a stroke, so we canceled our trip so we could care for him. Filing the claim was relatively easy online and Tammy, my adjuster, was very prompt and helpful. As soon as they got the paperwork they needed, they settled my claim almost immediately and very fairly. This covered everything, including the nonrefundable tours that I had booked. I always buy travel insurance for major trips and have never needed it until now. I'm so glad I got it and that I booked with this company. Highly recommend!

We are sorry to learn your policy did not reflect your dates of travel. InsureMyTrip is able to amend your policy at any time up until the day before departure. Once you have left your home for your trip, we are unable to make any changes to your policy as it is now in effect.
