    Thank you for your feedback on the policy. AXA Assistance USA was able to transfer your policy to new travel dates because you were able to demonstrate proof that the travel supplier did not charge any cancellation penalties, and you stated in writing that you would not file claim against the original travel dates.

    The above protocol is standard among most travel insurance companies providing comprehensive coverage.

The tour company offered trip insurance, but this plan offered features not available on the tour company plan at a better premium. Features such as "Cancel for Any Reason" and a $1 million medical evacuation limit. I like being able to evaluate available plans and InsureMyTrip makes that possible.

HCC Medical Insurance Services Atlas International
I purchased insurance from HCC Medical Insurance Services several times in the past. This was the first time I filed a claim. I contacted the company right after I had an incident which resulted in a short hospital visit. The representative of the insurance company told me I should fill out the claim documentation and send it in the mail. I sent the expense report from the hospital, together with the form to the claims department address. After waiting for a while, I checked with a representative of the company over "live chat" if everything was okay and he told me he couldn't give me any information since the case was under review.

I had to exchange a few emails and contact customer service a few times to get some information on the claim status, but in the end I received the check via mail. You need to have patience, but all of the medical expenses were paid.

We had no claims on our trip to Morocco, but were pleased that InsureMyTrip sent us a reminder a few days before we left, suggesting that we print our confirmation and take the information with us in case we needed to file a claim while traveling. When we couldn't find the original confirmation, they quickly emailed us another copy, and we did take it with us. This company impressed us by not just trying to sell insurance, but actually looking out for the policyholders.

Filed a claim for a 6 day luggage delay.
It took me 5 phone calls and 3 emails to the claims administrator before they agreed to pay the cost of claim submitted.
