We did have a claim after being delayed and bumped around because of a weather event. They reimbursed us for all the expenses I claimed very quickly and even nudged me, when I procrastinated filling out the claim form. As with any insurance, you have to submit all your receipts and give an explanation -- which is a bit onerouse -- but I was certainly glad I had purchased the insurance. Would recommend them again.

The policy was a good value in connection with what we were looking for to insure our trip to Europe. We ended up not needing to file a claim, fortunately, but it was good peace of mind to know that we had protection in place if the unexpected arose. We did miss out on some coverage, due to purchasing the policy outside of the period (14 days) after the first travel purchase for the trip (Intercontinental airline tickets). It would have been nice if the policy had allowed pre-existing conditions to be covered not within the point of purchase, but within the point of when travel actually began.

Peace of mind is priceless, and for considerably less than $100! I hope I never need to make a claim, but if I travel abroad I guarantee you I WILL be purchasing travel insurance, just in case ...

If you're going to travel with multiple destinations, you'd better consider travel insurance. We didn't need it but came close. You could get denied access to certain countries if you have a cough or something they consider contagious.
