I had no claims. We did experience being pickpocketed on the Milan, Italy subway where my wife lost her cell phone and later I lost a credit card(which I immediately cancelled) and some cash. However there was no way to document these losses for which lost baggage coverage did not apply. Your service seems much less expensive than equivalent coverage offered by tour operators and fellow travelers have been happy with it.

I always use Insure my Trip to search for travel insurance. I cannot say much about this plan other than it was a good price for the coverage we needed. We did not need to make any claims or contact the company.
