Don't purchase this cruise insurance. My cruise was cancelled because the ship was damaged. I submitted a claim to recoup flights and hotels, insurance company has sent me in circles for months and does not want to pay up.

Thank you for your feedback on the policy. We are sorry to learn that you had to cancel your trip. We understand that it is never pleasant to receive a denial for reimbursement under the Trip Cancellation coverage. However, your reason to cancel your trip must be specifically stated as a covered reason in the policy. Comprehensive plans are designed to cover as many risks as possible, but is very rare for any insurance plan to cover all possible risks. Unfortunately, it was determined that the event that occurred did not fall within the scope of Trip Cancellation for this specific plan.
